The City of Mississauga will hold a By-election for Mayor on Monday, June 10, 2024. The elected candidate will serve as Mayor of Mississauga for the remainder of the current term, which ends in 2026.

Early Voting

So far, there are signs that voter turnout may be changing. The City of Mississauga said Wednesday some 24,000 people have voted early in this election. This is a significant increase from the 2018 mayoral election, when only about 10,000 people voted early.
